We’re on a mission at Easy Crypto to provide everyone equal access to financial betterment through the transformational power of cryptocurrencies. We’re looking for a Chief Marketing Officer, who is an exceptional leader, strategic thinker and obsessed with doing great things collaboratively (we call this “collaborative hustle”), to be a core member of our Executive team. Our CMO will lead and grow the marketing function and drive and navigate the business as we enter a period of rapid growth.  

If you’re an experienced Chief Marketing Officer with the proven ability to build a marketing function from the ground up, grow B2C companies on the global stage and aspire to spearhead the next NZ success story, then we want to talk to you. 

Our ideal candidate

To be considered you’ll need at least 10 years’ marketing leadership experience, ideally having led the global marketing function in a successful high-growth FMCG, tech or financial services company. You’ll have built a world-class brand in international markets and developed strategies based on customer and market insights to influence customer behaviour and drive KPIs. You’ll have managed big budgets, big teams, lots of agencies and have plenty of stories to tell. You’re not afraid to roll-up your sleeves to drive the initial results whilst building your remote team and establishing a leading data-driven acquisition engine. 

What you’ll be working on

As our CMO, you’ll be responsible for driving global growth. You’ll own all areas of marketing including strategy, branding, product marketing, digital marketing, social media, channel marketing, demand generation, marketing analytics, events, press and partnerships. The role comes with a small team and the opportunity to build what you need. 

As a member of our Executive team reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for developing a strong and compelling vision for the company as well as leading the delivery of global campaigns that deliver measurable and meaningful business value. 

To succeed you’ll need to develop a deep understanding of the needs and wants of customers for each market we operate in, establish an executable strategy that influences behaviors and drives product uptake. You’ll champion the brand experience across the business and foster strategic partnerships and communities around the globe. 

You’ll also need to be confident leading remotely, building a collaborative environment where the team looks after each other and get things done together – this is what we’re all about at Easy Crypto. 

As you would expect, the role comes with a remuneration package that reflects the size and scale of the task.

In fact, we’re probably one of NZ’s fastest growing, big businesses that no one has ever heard of.
